The Talks provide a forum for people to share a personal connection to an idea, experience or passion related to emergency management, leadership, communication, community engagement, or other related topics. The Talks are limited to 7-minutes.

• Something they experienced or discovered that fundamentally changed their perspective? Inspired them to do things differently? Prompted them to take action, to make a change?
• Whether it was an incredible success, a major failure, or a personal moment of truth — we want to hear about it! We need your story!
