Dear Emergency Management Professional,
We invite you to submit your abstract to be considered for a breakout session at the International Association of Emergency Managers 64th Annual Conference & EMEX Expo, October 14-19, 2016 in Savannah, Georgia.
To be selected, it is crucial that your submission be compelling in both the importance of the subject matter and also show your knowledge and experience of the subject. You must follow all the submission requirements, outlined in the Speaker Guidance. Go here for more information about the Annual Conference.
Consider how your presentation will relate to the overall conference theme
“Today’s Emergency Management: Working in a Complex World" within the following topic areas or suggest one of your own:
- Complex Events or Incidents: The Lessons We Have Yet to Learn or Failed to Implement
- Current Research and Practice
- Successful Collaborative Practices
Breakout sessions are one (1) hour in length (including Q&A).
The deadline to make a submission is February 19, 2016 at 5:00pm ET.
Selected presenters will be notified via email by approximately May 2, 2016, and notices will include the date and time for which the presentation is scheduled.
