The event will be held at University of Hawaii at Manoa, POST Building, Room 723 (Presentation) and 703 (Reception)

This unique group consists of representatives from the Nepali Government, Media, Private Sector, and NGO community. Their objective here at the University of Hawaii is to learn about "best practices" in disaster risk reduction, including how to prepare for, manage and respond to earthquakes and flooding hazards, analogous to Nepal’s recent earthquake and to their monsoon seasons. The event will begin with the delegation’s update on recovery efforts after the devastating Nepal earthquake and highlights of their mission to the United States.
