Mahalo for your participation in the National Emergency Management Awareness Month (NEMAM)

As we conclude the first-ever National Emergency Management Awareness Month (NEMAM), we want to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together. August was all about elevating the voices of emergency managers, showcasing the vital work being done in every community, and building new connections that strengthen our profession.

To all who participated – whether by hosting events, sharing stories, engaging with leaders, or amplifying our collective message – we thank you! Your dedication has not only made this inaugural effort a success, but it has also laid the foundation for what we expect will grow into an even stronger tradition.
