 Michael Kern– Currently the Preparedness Analysis Planning Specialist for FEMA’s Pacific Area Office after serving more than a decade as the Voluntary Agency Liaison for the Pacific Islands. He has deployed to more than 40 disasters with FEMA and logged over 1,000 nights away on FEMA travel.

Jon Shear– CEO and founding member of ReadyZoneHQ, and a former president for EMP-HI with over 30 years of experience in emergency management. He is also an active member of IAEM, serving in leadership positions in the Emerging Technology Caucus, on the conference committee, and as current region 9 president.
